Nice news this morning. My story about Russian youth, "Clashing Cultures, Fractured Families" won 2nd place in the Best of the West journalism contest. The judges wrote "Thorough, original, reporting on an emerging and timely problem in the Slavic immigrant community. All parents can relate to challenges with teenagers. In this case, those challenges are magnified by a cultural, religious divide." Here are the two stories in the series:
